Re-NEET 2026 Night Before Exam — Complete June 20 Checklist

Tomorrow is June 21. Re-NEET 2026 is here.

Tonight is not the time to study more. Tonight is the time to prepare to perform.

The night before the NEET exam is not the time for panic revisions or last-minute stress. Instead, it is the most important phase for calming your mind, organising essentials, and preparing your body for peak performance the next day. A well-planned evening routine can help boost confidence, improve recall ability, and ensure you enter the exam hall feeling prepared and focused.

This is your complete June 20 guide — hour by hour, item by item.

⏰ Hour-by-Hour June 20 Schedule 7:00 AM — 9:00 AM: Light Biology Revision • NCERT highlighted lines only — do not read full chapters • Revise 5 key diagrams from memory: Heart, Nephron, Neuron, DNA, Mitosis • Go through hormone and vitamin tables once

9:00 AM — 10:30 AM: Formula Flash Revision • Chemistry: named reactions only — write each once • Physics: Modern Physics + Optics + Current Electricity formulas • Do not solve problems — only read formulas

10:30 AM — 11:00 AM: Previous Mistakes Review • Open your mock test analysis from yesterday • Read only the questions you got wrong • Do not attempt new questions

11:00 AM — 12:00 PM: Rest Completely • No studying • Walk outside, listen to music, eat lunch • Do whatever makes you happy and helps refresh your mind. Playing a sport, listening to music, meditating — these are ways to keep your mind from going haywire with preparation pressure.

12:00 PM — 1:00 PM: Pack Your Exam Bag • Full checklist below — do this now, not tomorrow morning.

1:00 PM — 6:00 PM: Complete Study Stop • No books. No videos. No mock tests. • Revision on the final night should be light and strategic. Avoid deep conceptual reading or solving difficult numerical problems. Keep revision limited to 1–2 hours maximum to prevent mental fatigue.

6:00 PM — 8:00 PM: Dinner + Relaxation • Eat a normal home-cooked dinner • Avoid heavy, oily, or new food tonight • Light walk after dinner

8:00 PM — 9:00 PM: Final Light Revision (Optional) • Only if you feel calm and confident • Mnemonics and memory aids only • Absolutely no new topics

9:00 PM — 10:00 PM: Prepare for Tomorrow • Set alarm for 7:00 AM • Confirm exam centre location and route • Calculate travel time — add 30 minutes buffer

10:00 PM: SLEEP • This is non-negotiable. Sleep deprivation directly destroys recall and accuracy tomorrow.

🎒 Complete Exam Bag Checklist — Pack Tonight A thorough last-minute checklist helps candidates prepare effectively. Ensure the hall ticket is downloaded and printed. Verify the allotted exam centre. Arrange all required documents including photo ID and passport-size photograph. Double-check the reporting time and plan transportation. 🕐 Tomorrow's Exact Timeline — June 21 Candidates are advised to reach their examination centres early to complete frisking, biometric verification, document checking, and seating procedures before the NEET gate closing time of 1:30 PM. The Re-NEET 2026 reporting time starts from 11:00 AM onwards.

Time What Happens 7:00 AM Wake up — light breakfast 8:30 AM Leave home 11:00 AM Reporting begins at centre 1:00 PM Reach exam centre — biometric + frisking 1:30 PM Gates CLOSE — no entry after this 2:00 PM Exam begins 5:15 PM Exam ends

The most important point is simple: the last entry to the examination centre is 1:30 PM. Once the gate closes, late entry is not allowed. A few minutes of delay can create unnecessary panic or even stop a student from entering the exam hall. Do not treat 2:00 PM as your arrival time. Reach by 1:00 PM at the latest.

🍳 Exam Day Morning Routine — June 21 7:00 AM: Wake up naturally — do not use multiple alarms 7:15 AM: Light breakfast — idli, toast, banana, poha Avoid: heavy paratha, oily food, dairy if sensitive Eat what your body is used to — not something new 8:00 AM: Quick formula glance — 20 minutes maximum Only Biology diagrams and Chemistry named reactions No Physics problems this morning 8:30 AM: Leave home — calm, no rush In the auto/cab: Do not study. Listen to calm music or sit quietly. At centre: Do not discuss syllabus with other students

🧠 Biometric Verification — Don't Panic Do not panic during the biometric verification, even if it doesn't work out. NTA has issued guidelines for that. If your fingerprint doesn't scan: Stay calm — this happens to many students Invigilators have a manual override process Sign the attendance sheet — that is sufficient backup

📝 Inside the Exam Hall — Key Rules NTA has introduced certain student-friendly measures for Re-NEET 2026. The examination window has been extended to 195 minutes from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM, including formalities. Another improvement is increased rough work space in the question booklet — students will now have more room for calculations, diagrams, and working. Rough work pages are arranged near the beginning and end of the booklet.

When you get the paper: Do not start immediately — read instructions for 2 minutes Check total number of pages Check your roll number on OMR sheet

Section order (recommended): Biology — 55 minutes Chemistry — 40 minutes Physics — 45 minutes OMR check — 15 minutes

Negative marking rule: Focus more on accuracy than maximum attempts. Since NEET has negative marking, blind guessing can reduce your score. Focus more on accuracy than maximum attempts. Attempt if you can eliminate 2 options → go for it Skip if you are completely blank → protect the mark

❌ What NOT to Do Tonight Do not start any new chapter or topic Do not take a full mock test tonight — too exhausting Do not discuss preparation with friends on phone Do not read social media about paper leaks — all fake per PIB Do not stay up past 10:30 PM Do not eat heavy dinner or try new food

💬 Final Word — You Are Ready You have been preparing for this for months. You already gave this exam once on May 3. Every chapter you studied, every mock you took, every formula you memorised — it is all inside your head right now. The NEET re-exam will test your focus as much as your preparation. Staying steady inside the exam hall often matters more than studying for extra hours during the last few days. The final day is meant for keeping your mind fresh and your recall active.

Tonight — pack your bag, sleep early, trust yourself. Tomorrow — walk in calm, attempt Biology first, check your OMR, and give it everything you have. All the best for Re-NEET 2026. You've got this. 🙏
